Accessibility statement

Our goal

Prime Coast Locksmith wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard only, zoom or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Every page has a clear structure: one main heading, ordered subheadings, and landmarks for the header, menu, main content and footer.
• A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing keyboard users reach on every page.
• All links, buttons and form fields can be used with a keyboard and show a visible focus outline.
• Every photo has a text description. Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
• Text and buttons meet WCAG contrast ratios, and the layout works when zoomed to 200% and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
• Every field in the quote form has a visible label, and the result of sending it is announced to screen readers.
• Animations are turned off for visitors who ask their device to reduce motion.

How we test

Every update to the site runs automatic checks for page headings, image descriptions, form labels and broken links. We also test key pages for contrast, keyboard use and phone layouts before changes go live.

Known limitations

Some job photos were taken on site and their descriptions are short. If anything on this site is hard for you to use, please tell us and we will fix it.
