Keys we cut and program for Honda
Transponder chip key
A chip in the head talks to the car's immobilizer. The blade can be cut anywhere, but the car will not start until the chip is programmed.
Remote head key
Key blade and lock/unlock buttons in one piece. Both the chip and the remote have to be programmed.
Smart key / proximity fob
Push-button start. The car detects the fob in your pocket. Most have a hidden emergency blade for the door.
